Description

Alpine Type R 12″ Subwoofer Dual 2 Ohm 750W RMS (R2 Series)

The Alpine R-Series 12 Subwoofer represents the next evolution of Alpine’s legendary Type R design, built for deep, accurate, and powerful bass performance. Drawing from the proven Type R heritage, this new R-Series subwoofer delivers stronger output, tighter low-end response, and improved durability for both casual listeners and true audio enthusiasts.

Featuring a Kevlar-treated cone and Santoprene surround, the R-Series subwoofer achieves an impressive 19 mm X-max for hard-hitting bass with precision control. The innovative talc-reinforced mica polypropylene dust cap improves damping and reduces weight, ensuring faster response and more accurate reproduction of low frequencies.

The R-Series design also introduces a stronger cone assembly and improved connection between the spider, cone, and voice coil, resulting in superior rigidity and sound clarity even at high volumes. With 750 W RMS power handling and a dual 2 Ohm voice coil, this subwoofer is engineered for high-performance systems that demand clarity, depth, and reliability.
